Called and was told it would be $160 for an eye exam. Felt I could do better elsewhere for the same exam. Never went to the office just called on the phone.
Such a bad experience. Never again. Glasses were given to me without so much as a case or a thank you. They don't fit. They fall off my face. I was told this doctor was number 1 in his class in all of the U.S. and yet my prescription was incorrect. Poor selection of glasses. Never again.
This was my first visit to Keen and with this doctor, and unfortunately it was a disappointing experience. There was no polite greeting or acknowledgment that I was a new patient. My appointment ran 40 minutes late, leaving me as the last patient of the evening. During the initial testing, I was told, “I was going to skip this test since she’s running behind,” which left me questioning whether I received a complete exam or not. Everyone was very nice and sweet. The eye puff exam sucked. I don't know why they use a tool that has to puff so many times and then gives false numbers instead of the one machine where it does it once. The tech told me my son's pressure was so bad that it was in the range for glaucoma. Then she did it again and it was in normal range. Update: Great and rapid response I received a call a couple of hours after my original post from the Office Manager (Samantha) at Keen who left me a detailed message and they are going to have new lenses made at no cost to me. They will include the reflective coating to prevent the issue I experienced (see next paragraph for details) and a 1-year warranty (from today, which is fine with me).
