The staff was pleasant enough when I brought in my eye glasses prescription (Boston doctor) I picked out frames and my glasses were made in 2 weeks. Unfortunately the lens is very poor quality, I had issues at the beginning with lenses that are yellow all the time, never clear, my glasses are both transition and progressive . I brought them back after a week and was told that’s the way they always would be. I’ve had glasses for 30 years and none of my other lenses were this bad. There was no effort to change or fix this. A great place to go if you're from out of town and have broken glasses that need repair. The staff was very helpful and my glasses were repaired very quickly.
Saved my life on vacation!! Lost my contacts and forgot backups while visiting Acadia, Laurie was so sweet and helped me out with trial lenses and solution and everything what a sweetheart. I had previously called a snotty eye Dr in Bar Harbor who wouldn't help me because I'm not a local, imagine getting into healthcare because you want to help people. Crazy. Thank you Eyes on PA!!
Very thorough exam and took the time to explain things and answer questions
Dr. Gonyea is one of the best practitioners I any field I have ever dealt with. I had a complicated issue and he was patient, caring and ensured I was properly taken care of. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for eye care. He is great.
