I was visiting New York from Bermuda in 1999 and popped into Eyes on Broadway to get some contact lenses. Barry took great care of me and since then, everytime I needed glasses, an eye exam or contact lenses, I have gone to Eyes on Broadway. Numerous family members and friends now do as well. Greatest customer service – I first went to Eyes on Broadway in 2002 to buy some contact lenses and met Barry. Barry and his colleagues are such wonderful professionals that I have been a customer of theirs ever since. Whatever your needs are, they will go the extra mile!!!
In NYC on vacation -- Found great glasses, service – My husband and I were vacationing in New York and stopped in Eyes on Broadway. Barry looked at me and pulled out a pair of frames that looked great on me. I asked him if he had other ideas and he brought out two more -- I never tried on any more frames and bought 2 out of the 3 he showed me! They had my prescription lenses done in 30 minutes. Best Eyeglass Store – I have been purchasing eyeglasses from these vendors for over 20 years. between me, my kids, my spouse we have purchased over 30 pairs of glasses and never once encountered bad service. on the contrary we've encountered only excellent service- they are always attentive and speedily rectify the few issues we have had (on one occasion i purchased frames that kept breaking and they replaced them a few times- my lesson learned...buy no cheap frames). bad service, poor quality of work – Okay, So Im sure if I bought glasses from them they would have done a better job or cared a little more to assist me, but it's no excuse I am still paying them money to install lenses and special coating for my glasses. I used to work for an optical store so I know good service and good quality work. I had a pair of glasses from my old job made with Anti-reflective coating and anti-scratch and they lasted me for 3 years! I only had to get new ones made because I ended up losing them. Highly Recommended! – I have been a customer here for three years, and they have been nothing short of fantastic! I have always taken my frames there to be reshaped or to have screws replaced, and they have done it quickly and free of charge. I recently purchased a new pair of frames, and they spent twenty minutes helping me pick out something flattering for my face shape-- I appreciate the great customer service they offer. A great place to go if you are looking for service.
This is my eye place! – I've gotten glasses here twice and I was very pleased both times. They do give you the exam free when you make a purchase, which is nice. The exam is thorough too! The staff is friendly if you are, but they see a lot of crazy people come in and out in that area, so if they aren't immediately responsive, just give it a chance.
Great Deal! – This place gave me a great deal. My fiancee and I got two pairs of sunglasses at a discount. Name brand as well! I was given a free eye exam and the staff was extra attentitive. These negative reviews are a shock, I think its more of a case of rude customers.
