They are friendly until you actually need help. Their main concern is profit optimization and their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced - they even lied to me about pricing. I spent over $150 on one pair of glasses and got zero help when picking them up and trying to get them to fit on my face properly. They may advertise a deal for 2 pairs for one price, but it's more bait and switch than anything. If you need anything other than the most basic of lenses, your price will easily double. But you don't know t... read more
Dr. Moses and all of the staff at Eyemart Express deserve six stars! Dr. Moses listened to my complaints with previous places I had gone to and knew exactly what I needed. He never rushed me and made me feel like I was important. I received service that is quickly becoming a rare commodity. I had the added bonus of being there on a day that his sweet wife, Debbie was working with him. Eyemart Express has a family feel that just feels good! Kendall and Joan were fantastic, also. My glasses are perfect and I'm actually looking... read more
I called for exam prices at Eyemart on Coburg in Eugene. The receptionist was extremely nice and patient with my questions. I was told that the same-day payment glasses exam fee is $79. Additionally, $30 is charged for fitting basic contacts, and the fee could be as high as $70 for the most complex fits. These INCLUDED up to 4 months follow-up, retinal photos and dilation as needed. The receptionist said I could be seen that day if I wanted. When I went in for my exam, I waited less than 10 minutes. The exam was extremely th... read more
I only wanted 1 pair of glasses and was told I had to get 2. It's a good thing I did because I can barely see out of one pair, after telling the girl who waited on me, she just said that I need to try them on with "fresh eyes" in the morning, even though this has never happened to me before and I could see just fine out of the second pair. I took them back and still can't see out of them. I will not return, walmart has a better selection and costs much LESS.
The store has a sign-in policy. Today I went to pick up glasses and soemone who came in after me was looking for frames. The Eyemart person commenced to helping her, instead of me. When I interrupted and said "excuse me, I believe I'm next on your list and I have an appointment" I was met with "well, she just had a few questions." I said I needed to pick up my glasses, I'd waited and it was my turn. The person got my glasses, cleaned them off, then slammed them into a case and shoved it at me, saying "Here. If you need adjus... read more
I made an appointment for an eye exam at what I thought was Eyemart in Eugene on Coburg Road. I provided them my insurance information almost a week prior to my appt. and went to my appt. this morning at 10:00. I completed my paperwork and had to wait for my appt time. I had already told them that I probably wanted to use my insurance benefits for glasses and pay for my contacts our of my own pocket. The lady at the eye doctor office asked if I wanted to look for glasses while I was waiting. When I was done with my exam, the ... read more
I only click 1 star because you cannot give them a big fat 0. I waited over 2 hours for nothing, I called ahead. They told me they could make my little daughters glasses. She had broken hers. Told them my name and I was on my way. They took the glasses in the back. They told me they could make them. They chatted up customers, selling them what they did not need. One of the associates (out of 2) went to lunch while we all stood around. I waited. All I needed to do was drop off the frames and perssciption. I waited and waited. ... read more
And the word 'helling' below was meant to be 'helping' but not to worry. The letter I wrote to their corporate office and on site manager did use spell check. I asked for help at the location and funny as it sounds the typo is nearly right. I recieved something more like 'helling'.
I was in for the first time yesterday and I was treated very well! The technician (I don't remember her name, but she had dark hair in a braid and long, dark eyelashes) was very helpful and knowledgable, and she spent a lot of time with me and made me feel like I must be very important. I'll be back for sure and will tell my friends...
