DO NOT GO – Bait & Switch. 1 complete pair -just ordinary frames with lined bifocal lenses- plus one lens only -in my own frame- cost me over $400 bucks and took 3 weeks to get. No one hour service here. The exam was separate. I was shocked when they told me the price and they did not even help to lower the price or explain, when I asked why they just shrugged. NEVER GOT GLASSES I COULD WEAR – I went here in April last year for their 2 pair of bifocals special. I paid over $140.00 for them. Cheap plastic ugly frames, and this is how much they charge??? Anyway, they called after 3 weeks ( so where is the one hour express?) said my glasses were in. I went to pick them up, a 35 miles drive one way, and there was only one pair ready. unprofessional/ rude! – Bought a pair of Tommy Hilfiger glasses, eye exam and contacts over a year ago. Spend about 300 dollars in this crappy store. Went back a couple of days ago due to the stems of my glasses breaking and told me they were not under warranty any longer and she couldn't fix them. Asked her "why" they couldn't replace the screw or whatever it is they needed to do. Eyemart Express – I purchased glasses in November 09. My eye sight has deteriated due to health problems. I went and got a new prescription from the optometrist. When I went to eyeMart for the new glasses, I was not charged anything. I was completely shocked. They warrantied my glasses even though my prescription had changed in a short period of time. I give 2 Thumbs UP!!!

Worst buying experience ever – My son is 17 and has been in glasses since the 3rd grade. In February 2010 we went to Dr. Barnes Eyemart Express in Albuquerque on Carlisle. We had to wait 1 1/2 hours to just be seen. I was understanding because they had a lot of people waiting. We purchased a pair of Geoffrey Beene glasses for him. We also purchased the lense protection to be applied to his glasses so they wouldn't get scratched. Well.....it is June 25th 2010 and we have had to replace the frames 4 times. One price over the phone, higher price when you get there!! – I called both the Highland and the Stassney/I35 locations for pricing on having new lenses fitted to my own frames. I was told there was a $10 fee for customer supplied frames. Fair enough! When I got to the Highland Mall store they told me the price was $20 because I had "designer frames." When I objected to the bait-and-switch and informed them that nobody had asked me if I had "designer" frames their method of dealing with it was to evict me from the premises. ... read more

Recommended – I have purchased two different frames from Eyemart Express and two different lens prescriptions. I have had the first set of frames for two years and just bought the second. Good quality frames that have worn well. I was also happy with my lenses. I will shop here again. Another good shop is Wholesale Optical, just South of Menaul near Washington.

Outstanding customer service – I went to eyemart express in Lawton, Oklahoma concerning getting prescription transition lenses in my riding Wiley X glasses. Instead of getting turned away like some people I know of I was treated with dignity and respect. The lady behind the counter said we usually don't do them because they're too dificult, and the Manager or senior representative said "well we can do it sir" it's hard yes but we will do it! Wonderful Experience – I had a great experience at eyemart express! Kellie Jo Maley is very professional. I did not feel rushed, like at other stores. She helped me pick out two frames.
