I have been coming here every 2 years for 10 years and the caring professional staff have been the best! Most recently diagnosed my "macular pucker" and advised me on the vision correction issues I would most likely experience. Again, the best care and conversation I could have hoped for.

Won't go there again. I can't see to drive back. Lol blurry left lense on sun glasses after going back 5 times. Finally got the clear lenses correct but still blurry on sun glasses. The man in the black suit was the only one that can help you. Nice guy. The other ones and the unseen ones in the back aren't a lot of help. Went ther 3 years ago and no problems. This time was very frustrating. Things change I suppose.

I guess you're treated in the way you treat others... I can't believe some of the reviews posted here. I'm a new client at Eyewear Express in Lafayette, Louisiana. I had a marvelous experience and was granted with superb service and great lenses. The staff were very helpful, professional and amiable. I got my lenses on time and as promise, the staff text me when my glasses were done so there was no need for me to seat and wait at the premises. I'm convinced people only post reviews when they are not happy with a merchant. Can't understand these reviews for Eyewear Express. I've been going there for 4 years now and probably a dozen times for my 6 year old who is rough on her glasses and need adjustments quite often. it's the same staff and they are always nice to us. Sure you have to wait approx 20 minutes, but that's for "drop ins". Love the text msg feature to pickup your glasses when they are ready so I go shopping in the shopping center. It's difficult for me to believe all the negative comments that are written here about the Albuquerque Carlisle Eyemart staff. My experiences have been so totally different! I was so pleased last year that I returned this year when I needed new reading glasses and sunglasses. I was serviced by Kat, the assistant manager, on my initital visit this year. Worst Buying Experience Ever. Like Murfy's Law, if it could go wrong, it would. I returned to the Albuquerque store at 2630 Carlisle Blvd NE more than 10 times before I was satisfied. However, I am not going to rant about my experience without proof. Lastly, I will offer some positive suggestions I picked up my glasses, and when I left the store, I was not satisfied with my vision, but I could not return, since I had an appointment. Best price in town – I tried eyemasters or vision works what ever there name is now and they wanted to charge me over 419 for 1 pair of glasses. This is my first pair of glasses and I did not even know what i was buying. I did not purchase them cause they were a little pushy. One of my employees in the IT department got new glasses and they looked really cool and he said he purchased them at Dr Barnes Eyemart, the one by Airport. Just Terrible! – A couple of years ago my wife and I bought glasses here, and after 3 tries they never could get them right! We ended up taking them and our prescription to another store to get them done right. Stupidly, we gave them another chance this week and AGAIN they screwed it up! My wife took a new prescription for bifocals there and they AGAIN screwed them up! Maybe the other branches are better but I won't be finding out. NEVER AGAIN!

never again – i also had a bad experience. I was also told to come back in two hours, it took over three. The glasses are big, bulky, hurt me, and blurry! I want another pair but have been told I can "buy" another pair. Ive spent over $300 for glasses that I cannot stand to wear. The metal frames are scratchy and very uncomfy! the lenses have an awful glare and i see reflections in them.
