Completed an examination with Dr. Whiple and purchased two pairs of glasses - one for every day and one single vision for the computer since I do a lot of computer work. The glasses were okay. When I picked up my glasses I asked for a letter to request larger monitors at work to prevent eyestrain since I require progressive lenses and work on small monitors. So disappointed in Eyeland Optical. I made an appointment at 2pm, so I left work at 1:30, which gave me a half hour to get from E-town to Mt. Joy. I didn't know a section of Main Street was being worked on and construction had one lane tied up. I was 9 minutes late. When I got there, I opened the door to find an empty waiting room. Absolutely wonderful! The lady and gentleman at the desk are great and always help me find the perfect pair of glasses. They've always listened to what I wanted and never went away from the styles I like. They are very personable and are always will to help when it comes to payments and being able to split them up into two if needed. They have always gotten me scheduled in a timely manner and have nice hours that fit with my schedule. Also, my orders always come in faster then what they project. Terrible service rude unprofessional employees.
These people are socially awkward and rude especially the eye doctor he failed to answer several of my questions and he doesn't have any expression his face. There discount prices are BS they told me I will have a discount on my eye exam and when I got there they said the special was over with.
got an eye exam. felt like i was in a Norman Rockwell office with the outdated equipment. eyeglasses were wrong , sent back 3 times still wrong . i gave up stay away
Well first you have to not be kept on hold for minutes at a time, to even get an appointment.
My first interaction with this place was with my daughter who had an eye exam and I was told she needed glasses. We got the glasses which she wouldn't wear only to find out a year later that she should have never been prescribed them at all and corrective lens' had to be made to reverse the damage that Eyeland caused. I was furious. Knowing that I will never take my children to see their eye doctor again.
