I took my son here 2 years ago to get an eye test. I didn't know it wasn't bulk billed but wasn't surprised. Its chinchilla. I had explained my son had had an operation to get tonsils and adenoids out and prior to this he had not been progressing as fast as another his age however he was coming in leaps and bounds since. The optomertrist told me he needed glasses due to his motor skills. I thought this was weird but listened anyway. $180 for an eyetest, and given quotes for over $1000 for contact lenses. Not having private health insurance It would of been nice to have been told they don't Bulk Bill!! Being on a very tight budget cannot afford this kind of money. The optometrist wasn't very personable, he was to keen on the money side of things, I didn't feel comfortable at all it was just like a get em in and get em out kind of appointment. Won't recommend for others on a budget 😕
