I love this place and my eye physician, Dr. Shield. The staff are always courteous, competent, warm, and welcoming. Dr. Shield was amazing — for all of the above reasons, but of course, even MORE so because he did my 2 cataract surgeries! I old recommend them to anyone (I always deep down resist doing that because then it means I have to SHARE!!!). Great office, great staff, GREAT doc.
My experience was excellent. I was nervous before the operation but all went very smoothly and there was no pain involved. My eyesight is excellent now and I am grateful to have it restored to nearly perfect. Thank you Dr. Shatz
Dr Shield completed 2 cataract surgeries a week apart -and I am completely satisfied. I haven’t seen this well in years and I think the world of Dr. Shield….he is kind, compassionate and a great communicator! I highly recommend him to anyone considering this “life changing” surgery!

Called because our 7-yr old daughter was in distress because something was in her eye that we couldn’t get out. The receptionist was kind and forwarded us to their “Triage Line”, which went straight to voicemail. After two hours we called back and the same receptionist assured us they’d check in and have someone call back shortly. 30 minutes later someone named Kathy from triage called back and told us brusquely it would be it least a week (!?!) and we should be calling urgent care instead.
