Excellent experience, everyone makes you comfortable and genuinely concerned for your welfare! Dr. Shield is wonderful.
I went to Dr. Gal because I was having quite of a lot of pain in my eye. It was discovered that my lower eyelashes were folding back into my eye and I needed surgery. Writing about it now, a week after the procedure, I'm so thankful that I had it done. Dr. Gal and her assistant Ana were available to answer any and all of my questions, and I felt really supported. Now my eye is pain-free and I am so grateful I had the surgery.
Dr. Shield is one of the best eye doctors I have ever had! I just had both my cataract surgeries and he did a great job!
I had a chemical corneal burn the night before knee replacement surgery. The ER doc said it was serious and to see an ophthalmologist within 24 hours, 48 hours on the outside. His parting works were "don't mess around with this, it's serious." So knee replacement was canceled. Dr. Shields saw me immediately - and if this was about him this review would be 5 stars plus. What a wonderful doctor! He prescribed antibiotic with a refill said it would probably take about a month to heal and for the blurriness to resolve. This was ... read more
