I had my civic worked on here 93 civic I wanted to flare the rear quarters Do a roll hoop/seat belt bar And paint The original body they said had to much hidden rust and it would be cheaper to get a new shell So I did just that I found a car with 70,000km that was 100% rust free. Somehow the bill ran out of control still. They started with the rear quarter flares which were not made by hand but rather just cut from Oem front fenders. A+++++++ DON'T EVEN THINK TWICE is my suggestion. JUST DO IT!! I have a 1992 Camaro Z28 that I take to a lot of shows (Well... before covid) and try to keep it in the best condition I can and so I am VERY cautious who works on it.
