I don’t not recommend the eye center on the 6th floor of building 90 Bergen st. I have been dealing with an eye injury for 3 months now and it gets worst after every visit. I need a professional, not a student to help me recover. I have an appointment next week, which may be my last. The ladies at the front desk aren’t any better, when I asked about the disability forms, they reacted like I was speaking Japanese or something. Worst doctor office ever.
Unprofessional only good if you’re an intern look to gain some experience while in college but most of the professional I’ve interacted with today were not empathetic to patients especially children department. They were robotic and dismissive. I did not like my expense with Alla (Ala) and attending physician assistant. My visit with Dr. Patel was horrible. He was very dismissive and ignored me. Firstly, he used the machine to look into my eyes. He never lifted my eyelid to look into my eye as all other doctors have in the past. This concerned me because the issue I have with my eye causes me to barely open my eye. Even worse, when I said there is a mass under my eyelid that is pressing on my eye and causing the pain and restriction with eye movement. He said when he lifted my eyelid, he didn't see anything.
