Got to our appointment that we waited months for, only to find a note on the door saying that they had moved. We had never been notified. I called and asked to reschedule with the doctor, since we wouldn't arrive on time to their new location, only to be told that the doctor retired. Again, we had never been notified. Then she tells me that there was no record of us having an appointment that day anyhow. I have it written in my book. I wouldn't write down a non-existent appointment and then show up for it. Would not recommend, staff is rude and will have an attitude when they call
Today, I had an appointment for 3:20p.m. I have to use medical transportation to get there n back home. At 4:00p.m. I was still waiting n I informed the receptionist that my medical transportation was coming at 4:20p.m. to pick me up. I was told that they did not think I would see the doctor by then. Then they asked if I wanted to reschedule. I told them no, that I would not be returning, that they should have notified the patients that it would be an hour wait. I do not recommend this company to anyone.
Recently went to the new location and the service was amazing and there wasn't a wait. Dr. Banas is a great Doctor. Steve at the front desk was there wearing a smile and was very friendly. Things have definitely changed around here for the better. I'll definitely be back.
Have to start out by stating not only were the staff pleasant when I arrived for my new patient appointment with everything being organized, but Dr. Eric Duresa is great. He took his time and attention too a communication level that is hard to find in any provider in any specialty. Thank you for a wonderful new patient experience and I am excited to continue my Eye care journey with the Eye Centers of Racine and Kenosha. LA
