Dr. Herrsink is great. The overall staff and process for patients though, nah. Find somewhere else to be seen unless you have plenty of time to waste. 1st appt, seen for surgical consult. Checked out and made f/u appt to discuss surgery date and “trial” of meds. Came to 2nd appt to be told they have nothing in the system for me even though we made that appt a month prior during the checkout at the 1st appt. Dr. Heersink is AWESOME! I could not asked for a better experience.
I had an appt at 1:40pm with S Heersink for capsulotomy/post-cataract procedure...I was charged $291 co-pay at Vision Center then sent to Surgery Center where I paid $315 co-pay..when I asked what the $291 was for I got the "idk..probably for tests??" My procedure lasted approximately 3min & didn't leave facility til 5:10 pm. The biggest problem was that while I was having the procedure 3 other ppl watched & I watched theirs in a 10x10 room..I knew their names & the eye they were having lasered...has Eye Center South had HIP... read more
