Tried up charging me $70 for a contact exam although she clearly read my benefits with me stating this was a 100% covered expense under my $15 copay. Tried to provide the rationale that it was because contacts are cosmetic and not considered medical. I have carried the same vision insurance for 10 yrs, it covers my contact exam. Dr Macke is very thorough and trust what he has to say. He is able to make you understand exactly what is going on with your eyes. He is a straight up guy and we are blessed to have him for our eye health.
