Just scheduled an appointment for cataracts --first available is eleven months out. Ridiculous.

I had an appointment to check cataracts. I was thoroughly examined and the doctors were both efficient and friendly, and willing to answer my questions.

Customer service is not the best, they have a appointments being scheduled 8 months out, along with extensive construction causing unpredictable traffic. Even with leaving 2 hours ahead for a 1 hour drive made us late 10 mins. They wouldn't see me and then called back once we were already almost home to say they would still see me. I have lost all hope in our health care system no matter the facility washington state has the worst health care.

Based on internet info - the UW Eye Institute is open Neil 5pm. But call results in a robot who states that the clinic is closed. I was at UW ER for a concern for eye abrasion w direction for them to call me today. Perhaps they called me from. Seattle number I do not recognize- but I called and waited for a long time, and got the robot again. I was hoping to have an appt ASAP to tell me - all is OK. Or, something needs to be done. A great Med school, with a sub-par medical staff. This is not an effective system. I would send... read more

Been trying to schedule a FOLLOW UP appointment over 1.5 months now. All I got is a round around or total silence. Don’t go there unless you like to wait forever or never. Just awful. And forget about calling Patient advocacy for help. They don’t do anything including returning calls! Patients have no recourse to get help at all! My last visit there, I was the only patient so I don’t understand about them being “busy”
