My doctor only examined the back of my eyes (using the dilation drops) and he didn't even put the drops in. Some no-name assistant did the entire exam to check my prescription and the eye pressure test. Other places use the machine that you look into that looks at the back of your eye and WITHOUT the dilating eye drops. This no name tech almost put the dilation drops that have epinephrine in them that cause me to have a highly adverse reaction (high blood pressure and rapid heartbeat) I had to STOP him from using it.
