STILL WAITING!!...had medical travel pay for this appt. At 1:30...now it is 3:47...patients still waiting and i just came in for the day...have to catch my flight at 6....one women been here since 11..just got in....not happy!! Had to leave at 5:30 to get back to airport get through security so did not see the Doctor...flagged her down an told her but she said other patients still waiting...When i left another lady had her appointment at 1:45 and was told another two hours wait that was at 5:30!! Dr Sayed (I think is the spelling; he who works and helps out with Dr. Schendel patient load) is the most condescending doctors I've ever come across. Poor communication and lacks professionalism when speaking with patients/family and conducting himself. He speaks to patients like they're beneath him and also appears visibly unhappy to be there, manhandling the eye examination equipment and tossing them around aggressively. My elderly mother had a very upsetting experience today at the VGH Eye Clinic. The technician was rude and dismissive, taping her eyelid in a way that caused burning. When my mom voiced her discomfort, the technician ignored her and told her not to move.
