Exam and office were great but BEWARE if you have Humana PPO Medicare. The doctors are in network for the medical part of the exam after the copay but are NOT in network for the refraction exam. So you will pay 100% for this part. Humana uses EyeMed Vision for their vision coverage and The Eye Associates in NOT in network. None of the Humana Medicare Vision benefits ( exam, eyeglasses, etc. )can be used here.
I had the most pleasant experience with my Field Vision Test today with Maria Boone in the Ellenton office. This is not the most pleasant test, and those who have experienced it, know what I mean! I have never had anyone explain the test and how to react to it, better than Maria! She is a true professional and cares about the test she is conducting, because she wants her patients to have the most accurate test results. SHE IS A KEEPER AND SHOULD BE THE LEAD TRAINER FOR THIS CRITICAL TEST.

Saw Dr. Casper at the Sun City location. On time, professional and personable. Told me my retinas were normal and didn't try to sell me any unnecessary surgery.
