Very disappointing billing experience. We paid $250 upfront for a procedure after being told that if insurance covered the procedure, the payment would be refunded. The insurance company covered the procedure, and we have the EOB to prove it. However, the $250 upfront payment has still not been refunded. It has now been 11 months. This is for the Valley Ranch location. Dr. Bhatia and his nurse are great. But the front desk and insurance coordinator are horrible. I got there and waited at the reception, the girl who wears glasses saw me but she didn't attend to me for a while and kept standing at bay. Then they told me I have to pay $180 as my deductible before seeing the dr. They didn't even convey this on the phone when making the appt. I have max benefit insurance and only owe a $70 copay at doctor's visit. When I tried correcting them, they pushed ... read more
