Was an awesome weekend at a beautiful location. Saw tons of deer and other wildlife. The stars at night were gorgeous. Ready to go back!
I was able to be a part of a star party last night and it was one of the coolest experiences. I learned so much about the stars and constellations and what you can see with your eyes or a pair of binoculars. Our star guide was incredible and so knowledgeable about the sky and constellations. We learned how to “star hop” which is finding a constellation that you know and using it to find stuff nearby which is not only cool but also very useful! We enjoyed a fantastic night of star gazing and Northern Lights at the Extreme Driftless cabin! The cabin is set at the edge of a wide open field on a hilltop, so there's clear night views in all directions. Hiking and campsites are nearby. We enjoyed some time away from it all.
Beautiful place! Truly an off grid adventure! Very nice and quiet! We enjoyed our stay and enjoyed the trails in the woods.
We rented the Extreme Driftless cabin for a reunion. It was an incredible off-grid cabin with absolutely no light pollution perfect for star gazing. The setting is so relaxing, with a nice pond to sit by and some trails through the pristine maple forest. Highly recommend!!!
