I stayed here for a week while my property management team worked on my home, paying $450 out of pocket. Based on my experience, I’m under the impression that many of the positive reviews may not be genuine. The rooms are extremely outdated, and the linens were heavily worn and old. The manager, Bach, has a terrible attitude and should not be in the customer service industry. He is nonchalant, unwelcoming, and dismissive, which made the stay even more unpleasant. This hotel is my favorite n main stay when I Mich period!! It's clean n quiet restaurants everywhere plus gas stations. Steven n bach run a great crew that is professional and don't procrastinate they get the job done!!!! As a traveler of many years I highly recommend extended stay America sterling hghts. SINCERELY A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER!!!

Pretty sure someone was murdered in the room I was booked in. Looked like stained blood on the bathroom counter. See photo. Oh and BED BUGS! Close this place down.

Went to visit a friend staying there for a week. Halls were dark, dirty, and ominous. A few seedy characters just "hanging outside". Felt the need to lock doors of my car...even though it's in Sterling Heights.
