We are from out of town and we were visiting our son in Cleveland. Got up this morning to leave and noticed oil running out from under our 2015 Chrysler T & C. My son suggested going down to wher he has his oil changed and other things taken care of on his truck and van. I am 73 yrs old and never been to an oil change business before. They are happy to charge a low price as they won't follow the proper procedures on the repairs. Wrong fluids and half the parts you need. Check out the thermostat they so kindly failed to check or offer to replace.
Took my "new/used" car for DOT inspection, prepared to pay $31-$32. I received a pleasant surprise when the manager told me the first inspection was labor free. I only paid for the sticker. They earned my repeat business by that action. Hope my next experience is as positive.
We have been taking all our cars here for years (5 cars). They are very knowledgeable and friendly. They have always done a great job fixing our cars and have saved us some money by not going overboard with repairs. Mark and Jason really know what they're doing and have taken great care of our family. Tom, who heads the oil change side, is fantastic as well!
Before I moved away, this was the only place I used to take my family's cars for oil changes and simple repairs. They never tried to persuade me to buy services or parts I didn't need, and they always treated me like a friend. Kenny was always my go-to guy. I miss these people and wish there was some place up here in Maine that was as good and as trustworthy.
Usually they are very professional, but today was not the case. In the past the have rounded off my lug nut and broke my locking lug nut. Today it happened again, I suggested they might be tourquing them to much. Brandon blew up and said he did not have to check anything. To me something is wrong if this is the 3rd time this has happened to me. When I bought new tires they said the lug nuts were too tight. I was just suggesting that the wrench needed to be checked. I will never go back here again. I brought my vehicle in for a check engine light and was told my O2 sensor were bad. After expressing that I might have some transmission issues the mechanic said he would do a test drive to decide if transwork would be needed. When he came back I had a power steering leak and needed a new pump. Management didn't seem to care that the mechanic was the cause of the new issues and have not resolved the issue yet. From a guy who loves and takes care of his cars and trucks - I would never go anywhere but here. Scotty and Bobby are great. Scotty - the lead mechanic is absolutely phenomenal! If you are looking for an HONEST mechanic (And lets be real - they are difficult to come by!) Scotty is the guy you need to see. He will tell you exactly what is wrong and what it will take to fix the issue. "Dishonest service tech" Guy tried to steal my oil, i called him out. I had mobile one put in my jeep that i had to pay extra for. The service guy, "older guy, grey hair and chubby" decided he would keep the approx. Half bottle of oil that my jeep didnt hold. I watched him sit it way over at the other side of the building in the corner by itself as if he was going to keep it for himself. i waited until the oil change was complete and ask if they was done.
