I preferred the old location but I got the educators discount so I can't complain. It's always a good time exploring the exhibits and learning new things. Fun for kids!
Go early, as this place is turns into a madhouse later in the day. There are so many hands-on exhibits (all science-based) for kids to interact with. Conveniently located near the Ferry building if you want to eat there after.
A family can easily spend an entire day getting engrossed in all the hands on exhibits. We have visited the Exporitorium several times over the years and our teen children can still always find something new and exciting. We love the new location on the pier. The only wish I have for this place is that customers have access to hand wipes or sanitizer. The place screams germs as by the nature of the museum, everyone is invited to touch and interact with the exhibits! :)
This place is outstanding. Very engaging and interactive exhibits for all ages. Many different levels and topics all around science. There is no way you can complete your visit in a day. Start your discovery....
Its an engineers/ tinkers dream museum very hands on and enormous. Im so glad they moved to the pier its gave it that much room to expand. You can spend days here and till not get to try all the sets.
Awesome exhibits, but very crowded. Lots of parents here seem to think they don't have to parent their kids while here.
