Captain Everett and his mate (and wife) Carol Ann provided an amazing experience in every way. The boat ride was comfortable and fun. Every stop on the tour was informative. The people we met on Smith Island were great representatives of the best our nation has done in creating hard working, honest and humble people. The Smith Island cake and crab cakes were delicious. Stumbled across Experience Smith Island LLC when I was looking for an adventure to take Mom on for Mother's Day. We were treated to a day on the water, learned a little Smith Island history, had a delicious LOCAL homemade crabcake lunch and saw about 700 pelicans. Captain Everett and his wife Carol Ann were very friendly, knowledgeable and took excellent care of us. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves being on the water or has a fascination of pelicans.
I really enjoyed my time exploring the islands. Everett and his wife were very informative and shared many stories, demonstrations and experiences of this unique culture. The boat ride to and from the island was relaxing and beautiful. Would diffently recommend this to newbies to the area or just for an enjoyable day out.
