I bought my Elantra almost 17 years ago. Never had an issue with it at all. I still only have 167 000 and some miles on it. I am looking for a new car but sadly it'll have to be a second hand now with the price of everything. I can only do around 170.00 to 180.00 bi-weekly and even that is hard to find anywhere. But if things change a new car is what I want. Either another Elantra or a Kona. Great company and I would recommend!
