Experian is truly your Big Financial Friend!! I have learned so much about how to properly monitor my Credit Reports and Scores from them! They teach you what truly affects your Credit score and how to make changes that positively increase your Credit Health!! They have a great App that is easy to navigate and many tools to help you learn about credit!!
Impossible to get anything but recordings and AI. Also hangs up on you. There are two other credit service reporting agencies-use them. This is a nightmare of unavailability and aggressive attempts to sell you things and duplicity. Just go elsewhere.
If you enjoy fighting with an extremely poorly designed auto attendant, Experian is for you! When the web site has a glitch and refuses to work, there is NO WAY to get an actual person on the phone for any kind of guidance or help whatsoever. You can try mailing them a letter, I suppose, and wait 15 or 20 business days for a response. Completely unacceptable.
I received an email from Experian after having submitted several disputes for the same collections account that was applied to my credit report TWO YEARS after the debt was resolved with the original creditor. I understand that we're not always privy to what happens behind the scenes, and even though this email outlines what the dispute process should be, it doesn't acknowledge what the resolution is if there is a breakdown should things not go as anticipated, which in my case, is what happened. Should be zero stars. Customer service is worthless. When unable to get help through AI, they suggested I write a letter describing my issue. And we have a paid account due to a data breach.
