I went to Wingate Wilderness Therapy when I was 15 after my mom died and I wasn't doing well. I found this place and asked my dad to send me. I went in very angry, confused and lost, but I came out a totally different person. I felt like I had purpose and I had reverted back to my true self. I didn't wish death upon myself anymore, i didn't want to hurt other people who did me wrong, I just wanted to start over and be successful in life (and I am). Lack of therapy, lack of general care, lack of doctors, lack of love and support, look if you wanna send your child to this program,no ones going to stop you, but you have been warned this place is a torture camp. They play games with your mind. Your child will not succeed in the way you believe, your child will be brainwashed, malnourished, refused basic care, and overall just abused . if you can read these reviews and then tell yourself “Ill still send my child here.” You’re part of the problem.
