I know this is an old situation but I had him build me a power glide and it was during covid so it took a year, and I am finally getting around to finishing my build, there was a major problem when he shipped it not properly packed or on a pallet! But there was something rattling around in the pan! So I had a local guy look into it and found "2" bolts not even in the valve body in the pan, loose tail shaft housing bolts a piece of aluminum sandwiched under the the valve body. The transmission they built for me performed so badly I don't believe it was ever even opened up. Two years or more of trying this and that and spending even more money, hoping it would work. I even towed the whole car to their shop to get them to check it over and see what was wrong. Before I even took it there I said I would pay for a full rebuild again including removal and installation. No such luck. When I got it back nearly nothing had changed and was still doing everything it did before. I was EXTREMELY patient and di... read more
