I was passing through the area on my way home to Indy when my Trailblazer developed a significant exhaust problem. George, the owner, immediately resourced the anticipated parts for a worse case scenario. George's son, while preparing my vehicle for repairs, was able to devise an alternative repair plan that could get me on the road sooner. I went to George to get an estimate on a resonator delete for my car. First when putting the car on his lift he almost took my Bumper off and then when he removed the car from the lift he broke some plastic and a bolt leaving a hole in my car. He offered to fix it but never apologized. In addition his shop was very messy.

I have been taking my care to Exhaust Masters in Dyer for many years. 175,000 miles and still going strong! They have performed maintenance on virtually every aspect of my car and I would highly recommend their services to anyone. Fair and honest businessmen, and that is hard to come by in the care repair business.

I would HIGHLY reccommend this place to everyone! The owner and his son are always kind and honest...refreshing since there are so many crooks out there! Wouldn't dream of taking my car anywhere else.

Don't go here EVER!!!!! After paying $428 for an auto emissions repair, our car still failed the test. When we returned to the shop, we were treated terribly. When I told the owner that I was unhappy, he said he didn't care. His son was verbally abusive, and made no attempt whatsoever to help us. He just gave excuses and accepted no responsibilty for the wrong diagnosis/repair. So, we are out $428 and still need to repair a problem with our auto emissions sysem...ANYWHERE BUT HERE!

I didn't even make it passed a phone call and I was displeased with this place. I called for just a general quote on replacing my exhaust system knowing they wouldn't be able to be more than general with the quote. The OWNER of the establishment talked to me in a very condescending tone, basically calling me an idiot because I was considering other well reputable businesses that had given me a lower quote than he did. I could not imagine a more horrifying place to take a vehicle. after replacing my exhaust they left my catalytic converter off. Completely off. After bringing this to their attention they did finally put a catalytic converter on. However, it was not the same one. Now the vehicle will not pass emissions due to a failing catalytic converter when it was passing with flying colors before.
