Front desk staff member Scott was so kind during our check in. Very warm and welcoming. The room was dated but that was to be expected. The upstairs where the bed is was very hot. Only AC downstairs which was really unfortunate. Also the bed wasn’t made properly and it was very uncomfortable. Location is great

This was our first time staying at the Executive Inn in Whistler, and for the price, we were very happy with our experience! The location is perfect—right in the heart of the village—so you can easily walk in any direction to find great food, activities, and shops. The front desk staff were very kind and accommodating. When we realized our room didn’t have a balcony (even though the listing said it would), they were quick to help and managed to move us to a room with a balcony, which we really appreciated! The loft room set up was great as we got some privacy between the up and downstairs rooms as well as an outdoor jacuzzi that was facing the village. The main downside however was how hot it was in the upstairs loft bed as there was only a ceiling fan that actually scared us more to use it than not as it sounded a bit loose. Also the downstairs sofa bed pulled out was way too long which made it difficult to access the balcony. It's hard to find accommodations in Whistler that do not feel like a scam. This place is unfortunately no exception. Our room did not look nearly as good as the pictures on the website. It looked like ot needed a reno: stained couch, carpet and walls, a kitchenette but no dining table (?!).The room was extremely stuffy and smelled of an old smoky RV. It was a hot weekend and the noisy air conditioner did not help much with cooling it down, especially the loft. Will not come back here.
