Just spoke with Alex, I believe. He is very helpful and patient. Best prices in the area for new hybrid battery installation.
The battery was shipped promptly and arrived as expected. There was however some bent metal that I did my best to bend back into shape in order for it to be able to fit in the car but despite my efforts, One bolt that secures the aft corner of the battery didn’t align and I was unable to bolt it in. Also, after installing the battery I realized that the new battery didn’t have the breather tubes installed. The tubes are black and attach to a white plastic manifold that vents to the outside outside.
I recommend Alex 100%. My hybrid system warning light came on on a Sunday night. I put in a request for a quote at 6PM, on a Sunday, I received the quote by 6:40. I responded several hours later with some questions. Alex called me at 9AM Monday. I was able to take my car to him and get back on the road by 11AM. I will recommend him to any of my friends and family that needs help with their hybrid.
Update May 2025: Still works great. 🤩 Update June 2024: Still amazing, no change. Must be some magic battery juju I got with my replacement 🤭 Update February 2023: This battery is amazing. I can go consistently 4 to 5 MILES without the engine kicking on. My parking garage at work doesn't even dent the battery meter going round and round uphill to find parking. Fun to sneak up on people and drive around in EV mode with the engine off for over 5 minutes of driving at a time. It's like a different car. And I'm not a slow driv... read more
ExclusivelyHybrid was amazing! We had an excellent experience getting a battery shipped to a small town in Idaho where they found a mechanic to install it in our Prius C. I recommend them without reservation!
