Al gave us a price ($175/hr) over the phone and then charged my credit card $500 for less than 2 hours. Do the math. The boat was pretty old but it worked OK. When I called him after seeing the overcharge he gave the standard run around. No refund. Lesson learned.
Great experience. They were able to squeeze us in with short notice late in the season. Easy in/out and perfect day on the lake.
Rented a boat for 3 days. He obviously took our reservation without having a boat available for us. Horrible communication and we ended up with no boat on the 3rd day. "Oh sorry can't get a boat today" on the morning of. Gave us no time to try to figure out another boat. Stay away from this scumbag Al
We booked a boat with this company and after saying they would confirm with us the day before with the details we heard crickets. We called and the owner answered the phone completely intoxicated claiming he had been golfing the entire day and had no boat for us after confirming multiple times previously. This business is completely unprofessional do not waste your time and lose your chance to boat on Lake Tahoe.
We rented a boat for the afternoon from Exclusive Boat Rentals because of the good reviews and when we called Al, the owner, he was very nice - but, when we left the shore, the boat sounded very rough. At our first stop, about 20 minutes into the day, when we stopped to do some fishing, water was coming out of the bilge, which was a 2nd sign that something was wrong.
