Honestly I’m kinda surprised by the low stars. Every time I call I get a lady who talks clearly, is extremely kind, and very helpful! My question is always answered! The reason I actually decided to leave a review is because they seemed so abnormally nice!
Worthless. Doesn’t cover their insured. Doesn’t care as long as they get paid. Denies people medical treatment that their team of doctors deem necessary. I wonder what it’s like to sit in a coorperate office and have the power to deny someone the opportunity and chance at a quality life.
Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield holds a monopoly here in the southern tier of NY . AND being such, when reading the summery of benefits they supposedly "cover" under any particular plan, it seems an often and most unpleasant frequent policy of Excellus to deny payment of medical bills because of one of their self justified stipulations never mentioned in any of their policies.
