You simply cannot get ahold of anybody for help. I have tried submitting a claim 4 times and it still doesn't show up in my account. There are also claims from a Doctor I have never meant who works in a specialty that I have never sought care from. There are claims for multiple respiratory services (in one day even) that I cannot even mark as fraudulent. When I call the number to report fraudulent claims, guess what, I am put on hold and never speak to a person on that line either. Absolutely horrible customer service.
My GP did a follow up after a traumatic injury. She didn't like what she saw so sent me for a same day emergency CAT scan. Excellus said they wouldn't cover it unless it was pre-authorized and that would take up to 2 days. What a terrible policy.
