I spoke with Anna in the commercial insurance part of Excellus regarding pre-certifocation for a C-PAP machine and supplies. I hate calling customer service for anything in general but she made the experience very pleasant. She was knowledgeable, thorough, friendly personable and explained the process in a way that was easy to understand.
One of the worst insurance companies I have ever dealt with. Absolutely horrendous monthly fees, even with an employer. Was not able to cover much needed prescriptions for our family. But we’re pouring hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of dollars a month, to have nothing covered or maybe a $20 credit given by them. And don’t ever have any type of emergency where you have to stay in a hospital or lose a child while giving birth because they won’t cover it sadly.
