Poor service
I can't get in contact with anyone to replace my lost card! I have diabetes so my wound care appointments are important to me. Can't set up my vascular appointments because they won't see me without a card. OMG this is so stressful
My wife and I have been happy Excellus customers for many years, but this year their coverage and customer service have taken a real down turn. My current plan is similar to last year, except I now have to pay $43/month for restorative dental service that was included at no extra cost last year. Also, they've removed the otc quarterly purchases that were also included last year. And the customer service this year is horrendous. I had the most pleasant conversation with a Melissa Likens . Rarely can one say that about a customer service agent. She tolerated cats racing through the home, children with orange potato crisps running underfoot, and searching for an ink pen in an in progress renovated house. Extremely kind, funny, knowledgable, and clear spoken. I have always had quite an acceptable relationship with excellus as an insurance company to be fair the company is in Pennsylvania and she was in Colorado, but that made her no less aware of hospi... read more
