Excellus illegally placed me into Excellus "Bronze Standard" [Affordable Health Care Act] health insurance plan without me registering nor consenting in any manner for that insurance. Excellus (of Rochester, NY) postal mailed me, with my name on it, an Excellus new I.D. card bearing my name and a new I.D. number for an Excellus "Bronze Standard" health insurance plan that takes effect on 01 January 2014. After 5 years of dedicated and flawless service my position was "back filled" as a result of being removed from work because of a medical condition. Excellus knew that I was planning to return to work, I contacted them in attempt to establish a return to work plan. I was calling to speak to a representative about coverage and the person I spoke to was Teresa you don't give out any other information and I was unable to get an extension from this person, She was rude and spoke to me as if I was bothering her her tone was rude and obnoxious and when I asked her questions she put me on hold in a rude manner she stated I kept giving her incorrect information after a short while I almost was in tears from the way she was speaking to me and how rude she was, if this is how you treat customers... read more

No wonder the world is full of road rage - all I wanted to do was phone you....I dont do business on line and all I wanted was your phone number! no where! nada!!! so it took me back and forth thru all you websites. not listed anywhere... getting more frustrated by the minute till I found an independent phone number listing for you. ridiculous!!!!

Frankly I think your services are a crock of baloney! Here is a poor man, living within walking distance of a therapist, but Excellus will not pay the therapist because it is out of the district. Instead, the man is forced to drive over 80 miles three times a week to get services that are covered.
