We have a well-made but quite old stuffed chair we love that badly needed reupholstering (cat damage). While we had to wait a couple of months for Excel to begin work, because they're that busy, the chair was picked up a week ago and returned yesterday. During the week away, the store called to say they had discovered damage on the interior from previous reupholsterers that really needed to be fixed if we were to get the result we wanted. Honestly we had heard good things about this company but ended up having a terrible experience. As previous clients we brought in our flybridge canvas for seasonal repairs and ended up proceeding with additional work they suggested! (More money obviously $$$ ) but in the end when we went to put up the canvas they had missed the original issue we brought it in for. When we brought it back in for repair we were met with push back and essentially turned away rudely. How we were treated was very disappointing and unprofessional.... read more
Was very very happy with my new boat cover. Fast turn around and very happy with the price. Repaired one of my seats as well.
Excellent experience start to finish. I had asked for some repairs to be completed on my old boat cover. They went above and beyond my expectations with top quality work. Turnaround was very quick especially considering this is a busy season for boat covers. And to top it all off, my final bill was less than expected which I already thought was very reasonable! I highly recommend Excel Upholstering and will be returning in future!
