UPDATE (in response to company reply): The company’s response omits a key fact: I was never provided with the required self-storage inspection procedures. This was later confirmed in writing by their own team. Because that documentation was not provided, I was not given the opportunity to follow the process now being cited as the basis for denying my claim. Jamie, the representative who did the walkthrough regarding my needs and what I wanted moved, packed, etc. was excellent. Her quote was very close to what the weigh price turned out to be. She was friendly and helpful. The packers, too, were friendly and they worked very effectively. The movers were amazing. The same four gentlemen did both the load from my old home (all 3 floors!) and the unload/setup in my new home. They were efficient in their activities without being careless.
