Over 35 years Bowling Green Recycling has purchased 10 Excel balers. We currently own 5 Excel balers. We bought the very first Excel 2R63 sight unseen before it was even built. The latest EX 63 was bought in 2025 and we traded in a still operating 27 year old EX 62 that was due for a rebuild. Norm Leger has been our contact for almost all our purchases. We brought in a rebuilt Excel EX63 last year, and it’s been a great fit for our operation. The install went smooth with little downtime. The baler has plenty of power, runs consistently, makes perfect bales and handles our material flow without any issues. I’d recommend Excel to anyone looking for a reliable baler that holds up well.
We bought a horizontal manual tie baler from Excel and the machine and service were both great! Making great bales with speed and ease. We were taken care of by Norm, he was great and very responsive to our needs! Will use them again in the future!
