Went here when we first moved to Ann Arbor some years back and I really wish we didn't... Spouse is still dealing with and paying for repairs of poor filling work performed here. What was supposed to be a routine clean turned into MULTIPLE (talking at least a dozen) fillings that they told her were nearing 'Emergency' and would need to be taken care of asap. I went in 2018 and they told me I had 16 cavities, I was young and naive and let them do work in 4 painful and long appointments where the filled 4 teeth at a time each appointment, and cost me well over $1200 that I did not have as a 24 year old in grad school. Since switching dentists I have had to get each of these fillings redone as every single one of them has broken, cracked, or gotten a hole in it over the years. Dr. Surmont is a very caring person. I am grateful for his gentle touch. The office is very proactive with regards to insurance matters. I highly recommend this practice!

I had a terrible and extremely upsetting experience with my dental cleaning today. I rarely write reviews, but what happened today was unacceptable enough that I felt I had to say something. I have been to this dental office several times before, including two deep cleanings and two regular cleanings. My previous hygienist was always careful, gentle, professional, and attentive.
