I’ve been going to Excel Eye Center for nearly five years. As a keratoconus patient, it’s important to find a specialized doctor. Recently, I've been disappointed with the care and customer service at Excel EC in Provo. Last year, during my annual exam, my doctor recommended that I consider a prescription update, in hopes of improving my vision. They charge $188 for an eye exam for a child. Now that is if you pay up front. If you use insurance, they charge $577. So after charging insurance, they charged us $197... Seriously?? So on top of everything being extremely expensive to begin with, they overcharge insurance, and then charge more than the eye exam is to begin with. Go somewhere else, or pay up front.
Had two cataract surgeries. Each eye surgery was less than 20 minutes and I was seeing better the next day. Dr. Ririe did an outstanding job. I strongly recommend him.
