Extremely disappointing experience. We drove over 3 hours with our infant daughter because the doctor’s profile advertised pediatric dermatology expertise. We left with no diagnosis, no meaningful evaluation, and no clear treatment plan. The doctor told us she didn’t know what the condition was. While the visit fee was waived, that did not make up for the time, travel, stress, and missed opportunity to help our child. The office felt disorganized, unprofessional, and unwelcoming. Dr. Aamir Hussain is an excellent dermatologist and is very personable. He listens intently, explains conditions clearly, and truly cares about his patients' well-being. I truly feel like I'm in good hands with Dr. Hussain.

BEWARE! I saw Dr. Suarez last year after trying so hard to find a doctor that would give a proper evaluation. I drove far to see her hoping for a good experience as I have skin cancer in the family. As I lay there naked and she starts to examine me, she then says “I don’t look at tattoos, “ proceeding to completely ignore parts of my body. Anyone with a thinking brain understands that you do your best(I have a few and not a lot!) but for her to make that comment and ignore parts of my body made me feel rejected and unsafe. Warning to self-pay patients: This office charges between $100 and $200 depending on the diagnosis. For example, diagnosing hives versus an allergic reaction may be billed at different rates. While it's understandable that additional services can increase the cost, the price of a physician's expertise should not vary simply because of the diagnosis. Pricing practices like this contribute to the frustrations many people have with the U.S. healthcare system and can leave patients with a negative impression of the practice.

Unfortunately I was told over chat after sending my insurance card that my insurance IS accepted, however after setting up the appointment I decided to double check over the phone and was told that my insurance is in fact NOT accepted. The admin staff are not very friendly or kind over phone or chat. I was told the appointment was cancelled and usually I would just trust that but in this case I was picking up a weird vibe, so requested written confirmation of the cancellation so I can make sure I will not be charged a fee.
