Dr. Rafat Nashed is one of the best orthopedists that I have been to, over my lifetime. He is always available to answer questions and took time to investigate different options for me. During the surgery, he was informative prior to the procedure and answered any questions I had. Dr. Nashed is an excellent surgeon. Despite it being a Friday afternoon and on his way home from the hospital, he promptly returned to the hospital to meet me for a consultation and confirm surgery for the following morning. I had suffered a severe accident at home, slipping on a tile floor and breaking my femur cleanly in two. Dr. Nashed's responsiveness and expertise made all the difference in my recovery. My 95 lb dog saw something in the woods and in a second wrapped his leash around my ankle and gave me a severe injury fracturing bones that form the ankle. I really feared what the next step would be. It happened on a Saturday and so thankful that Dr. Rafat Nashed came in Sunday to perform surgery. I had trimalleolar ankle fracture surgery.
