I took Pogi in because he was avoiding pressure on his hind paw for a few days. It soon became swollen and he wouldn’t stop attempting to lick at it. The tech was very thorough with her assessment questions and in dictating my responses for the vet to review. The vet determined it was likely a fox tail that continued working its way further into his paw. Our pup started shaking her head on Sunday afternoon. We knew immediately the chances were high for a Foxtail in her ear. It’s been 20 years since we needed an emergency vet visit. I went online and started calling the big businesses first. All of them had a 4 hour wait time with 1 doc on staff. I called EVS next to the Peppermill and they told me within 30 min.
