Great Customer Service! – I have been coming to the Salon of Italy for quite some time and I love it! The girls there are so awesome and are so helpful. My color has always looked great. I get sick of the same color and style, so they are good at suggesting new trends that are fun and fit my personality. The atmosphere there is great. Bad Customer Service – It was convenient to book an appointment online with this Salon. I had no problems with my appointment being delayed or cancelled. However the girl that did my hair, Cherie, seemed to have no idea what she was doing with color. I tried to be optimistic that such a highly referred Salon wouldn't hire someone who couldn't do a good job. little sketchy/flaky – I was impressed by the salons website and that you can book appointments online. I booked a leg waxing appointment and then called to ask for things that I should/should not do (use lotion that day, etc.) since it was my first wax ever. The receptionist knew nothing and had to keep running back and forth for answers. I am a prompt person but the person doing the wax was not. Luv my hair!!! – Jessica Barnes has been doing my hair for a few months and everytime I come to her I love the results! My hair is really long, thick, and hard to deal with and she is so patient with making sure that she understands exactly what I want. She does great color and cuts aswell. The salon is very inviting, laidback, and the staff are so nice. I would definantly recommend it!
Very disappointed with color – I would not recommend the Salon of Italy to anyone. I had asked for blonde highlights throughout my hair. I even brought in 5 pictures of how blonde I wanted it. She added blonde highlights and then added a toner that was supposed to make my hair brighter and lighter. When she washed my hair out, it was brown. I was really upset and she said the toner would calm down after a few days. She also told me to rinse my hair with Diet Coke to take the toner out. Leigh Dawkins – Leigh is absolutely the best. She is the only person I will allow near my hair with a pair of shears or a coloring brush. She knows my hair, knows my long-term ideas for it, and knows what colors work well with my skin tones. I live in Pleasant Grove, and have traveled to Bountiful to have Leigh do my hair. I'm so happy!!! – I wanted to go from brunette to blonde, just to try something new and I couldn't be happier that I made that decision! I went to Brooke based on all the rave reviews she's gotten and she is worth every single one! I am so unbelievably happy with my hair!!! I can't get over it. Nice Haircut but Where is Leigh??? I FOUND HER!! – got a nice cut here from Leigh Dawkins, courtesy of all the website comments. Cant seem to find here now, she's not at Salon of Italy, nor at Salon Dante (the two places she's cut my hair this fall). Help! Alyssa did a great job on my hair! I had a few bad cuts before and was frusterated with my stylist. Alyssa was not only a great conversationalist and cool chick but she gives awesome haircuts as well. I would highly recomend her to anyone and I will continue to go to her as my stylist. She is hip and gives great looking modern and classic cuts!
