Takes weeks to get basic procedure authorizations approved. They want you to have your doctor resubmit an authorization to try and get the authorization approved faster instead of just doing their job in the first place. They have no time frame to make authorizations, just when they get to it.

Price transparency and a single-payer system would reduce healthcare costs, and eliminate the need for specialty healthcare insurance companies, such as Evolent.

They are an absolute joke to deal with. Can't get answers to basic questions, all they tell you is that they are not a clinical physician so they are unable to provide an answer. Also deny required procedures or put you and your doctor through the ringer to get approvals. They also only allow a surgery to be put in for prior-authorization 15 days before the schedule date...preparing for a major surgery in 15 days is impossible It is shocking that an insurance company would contractor them for major procedures

not humanity friendly. denied critical scans 2x and delayed MAJOR diagnosis. needs major help to not harm humans.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible place !!! Why would an insurance company contract with such an inadequate place is beyond me!! patient care is not a priority!
