I booked a GHD curls appointment at Evoke Hair & Beauty and paid a deposit in advance. There was some confusion before the appointment about the time and who would be doing my hair, but I was ultimately told my original 5pm appointment would go ahead. When I arrived, the person doing my hair explained that she mainly worked as a makeup artist, although she said she also had hairstyling certificates. Edited 16/8/26 as reply to the managers response: Their response is a complete lie. I did not arrive early, I came on time and the place was closed. I called multiple times and there was no answer at or beyond the time of the appointment. I received no phone call on the day or afterwards. I had to call them on the next business day - the owner had no clue and thought the Saturday worker had opened as usual.
