Thank Jesus for EvieMae's. Normally I eat so fast I only post before pics. Evie Maes is worthy of a before and after. If they used actual plates, I swear on my mama's grave, I would've licked my plate clean. The hubs and I shared a 4 meat plate and he loved the chili/cheese sausage. The grits alone were worth the trip. Green beans are definitely NOT canned, with the right amount of snap to them. Everyone loves Evie Mae's, it's always busy. Still quick and delicious. Everything is gluten free, but you can get a regular bun. There is an onsite bakery with gluten free cakes and pies. I always get a pecan pie there. All the sides are GF, even cornbread. Everyone loves their food. Try it if you are in the Lubbock or Wolford, TX area!
We moved to lubbock last year and we have tried to go on several occasions and couldnt get it to pan out.. we finally did and let me tell you.. its worth the wait.. everything was impeccable and flavors were spot on... my one and only small complaint is the brisket portion of the half brisket/ half Ribs were 3 very small pieces.. other than that one complaint its not a reflection of the food or quality.. we will be back on my next days off!
I absolutely love this place! The brisket is absolutely awesome! Also the prices are super fair.
