Would give this place negative 5 stars if I could. DEAD STATION. Tried making a trip out from Cali to Vegas. Since I have the toyota promotion, I figured I could get across. But no this station is completely out of service for several days. Making it the worst experience anyone can imagine with 0% battery and 20 miles left to make it to the nearest charging station and 114 degree weather outside. By the looks of it you guys haven't fixed these stations in months. Probably needs a class action lawsuit for stranding people out... read more
As somebody who has to drive past it every week twice a week on a commute from Vegas to California for work it is essential that it is there, however you have eight total stations and only two work it is frustrating add in the fact that only one CCS works on the Astrid station and the chademo only works on the Nash, on Astrid the chademo doesn't work and on the Nash the ccs doesn't work. There's a total of 8 machines, and only 2 work, the other 6 are covered. And on the two machines on one charging cable works. It's very frustrating to constantly pass this area and have the once charger needed always taken and so many machines not in use.
Station said it had one working Chademo charger, was literally the only confirmed functional Chademo charger within 100 mile stretch. I could've filled up before that stretch had i known it wasn't actually working. Instead got stuck in Baker with 19 miles. A billion other chargers in town that aren't my Chademo or even my level 2. Finally found a business that let us sit and charge with a level 1 cord for 8 hours to get enough miles (60miles) to make it to the next Chademo charger.
