Charged just fine but I am shocked at the cost. I was using a rental car so the ins and outs of charging stations is still new to me. I thought for sure the $55 charge on my credit card was like a temporary fee until my session was all done or whatnot. Nope. I was charged $55 to charge a Hyundai ioniq 5 from about 35% to 100%. Outrageous that this one charge cost about 1.5x what I pay for a tank of gas for my own car!

I have had my Cadillac Lyriq for almost a year now. It came with free charging at EVgo stations. There is only one location near my home in Monterey, CA. and they have 2 chargers…yes only two, and from the day I took delivery one has been out of service every time I come. I am sitting here now waiting as the only operative one is in use. The same charger has been “OUT OF SERVICE” for over a year. Had I known this I would never have bought the car!
